Consignment
The Consignment Process
- Send pictures of your dress and basic info (brand, size, original price, year purchased, any major alterations including the approximate height the dress is hemmed to) to hello@thedressyattic.ca
- If we choose to accept your dress on consignment, we will give you a quote and send a copy of the contract for you to read over
- If you agree with the terms, then we will set up an appointment for you to bring in the dress
- Once your dress sells, we will contact you within two weeks to arrange payment (usually e-transfer)
Contract Summary
- The owner of the dress gets 60% of the sale once the dress sells (unless it required cleaning upon arrival)
- The contract is for a minimum of a year. At the year mark, we assess whether to keep trying to sell it or send it back home.
We do NOT accept:

short or knee-length dresses

dresses hemmed to 5'2" or shorter
-
any dresses purchased in or before 2018

three-piece or two-piece mother-of-the-bride dresses

flower girl or any child size dresses
-
dresses with a retail value of less than $150
